To reset your password if you are logged in to Vault:
- Click the arrow to the right of "My Vault" on the header bar to display the My Vault drop-down menu. (You must be logged in; if you are not logged in, you will not see "My Vault" on the header bar.)
- In the My Vault drop-down menu, select My Account.
- On the My Account screen, click the pencil to the right of "Password."
- On the Change Password page, enter your old password, and then enter and confirm your new password.
Note: Passwords are case sensitive, must be 8-128 characters, and can contain letters, numbers, and symbols. - Click the Confirm button.
To reset your password if you are not logged in:
- On the Vault sign-in page for your institution, click the blue "Forgot Password?" link in the log-in section of the page.
- In the Forgot Password pop-up, enter the email address associated with your Vault account, and then click the Reset Password button.
- An email with instructions for resetting your password will be emailed to the specified email address. A pop-up displays on screen to confirm an email was sent.
- Open the "Vault - Forgot Password" email, and click the link in the email to go to the Reset Password page.
- On the Reset Password page, enter and confirm your new password, and then click the Set Password button.
- Once the password has been successfully reset, a success message displays on-screen with a link to the applicable Vault sign-in page.
- Click the link to the Vault sign-in page, where you can log in with your new password.
